The Basilica of the Sagrada Família hosted the Diocese Eucharistic Adoration for Corpus on Saturday 21 June, led by Cardinal Joan Josep Omella i Omella, Archbishop of Barcelona, accompanied by Mons. Javier Vilanova Pellisa and Mons. David Abadías Aurín, Auxiliary Bishops of Barcelona.

At 9:00 pm, the Eucharistic adoration and praying of vespers began. Afterwards, the monstrance was taken in procession to the crypt, where parishioners took it in turns to sit vigil until first thing the following morning.

This religious celebration was held for Corpus Christi, organised in conjunction with the diocese chapels of perpetual and nocturnal adoration, Església Jove and the Archdiocese of Barcelona.

It was open to the public, with limited capacity, and was also streamed live on sagradafamilia.org and esglesia.barcelona/en-directe.
