The Junta Constructora del Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família is opening the third call for the Social Action Fund (SAF), reaffirming its commitment to supporting third-sector organisations. Applications will be accepted from 16 June to 31 July 2025.

This year, in order to reach as many projects as possible and have an even greater impact on society, the amount earmarked for SAF grants has been increased 40% compared to 2024, to nearly €5 million, which is twice as much as the first edition in 2023. Plus, the scope has been expanded to include the dioceses of Terrassa and Sant Feliu, in the Barcelona Ecclesiastical Province.

The SAF aims to jointly fund social projects and initiatives promoted by non-profit organisations that strive to cover the needs and demands of society today. The Sagrada Família Social Action Fund was established with a clear dedication to serving the most vulnerable individuals and groups. The main goal of the Social Action Fund is to help build a society that is more humane, more just and more solidary.
